Xacal

Xacal was found in a garbage can at the 30th of March by a friend of Cantinho dos Animais which rescued him immediately and brought him to the hospital.
At the same day we've been told that he didn't have his spine broken, but he had a severe cranial trauma and he got treatment right away.
Xacal is recovering step by step, like sleeping (as he arrived he never closed his eyes), he responds to touches and already follows us with his eyes.
Thanks to the donations he has the chance of doing a CAT scan in São Bento Clinic in Lisbon.

At the 5th of April Xacal went to Lisbon and he has already made some more progress, he ate from our hands and his neck wasn't as hard as before.

Xacal is getting better, in saturday he already stood up a bit though his neck is a bit bent and he already raise a leg to receive some cuddle.
The CAT scan didn't accused any neurologic lesion and we're at the moment doing blood tests to check over diseases thanks to the help and support of everyone that helped him so far because without them we wouldn't be able to pay for his treatments and keep the hopes up.
If Xacal will be able to pass all this obstacles he already has someone that wishes to adopt him and give him a happy life.

Let's have hope and wish for the best to him!
